Came to BCC: 1998
Married to Kathy, three children, Jeff, Mandy, and Beth.  Woot!!

How long have you been at BCC?
I’ve been pastoring here now for almost 14 years! Which I guess makes me the longest running pastor in BCC history
.

What really gets you excited?
I am always amazed to see people growing in their relationship with God.  Seeing people who are learning to trust, love, persevere and serve just makes my day.

I love to work with and develop leaders. Leadership is a big passion of mine and I really enjoy working with people to discover their own leadership styles and help them develop and use their abilities effectively

What is your greatest indulgence?
New technology; I get excited, frustrated, and satisfied in the hours I get to spend figuring out something new

How do you best relax?
Going for a walk, reading, golfing, or going with Kathy (my wife) into the city with no big plans or agenda but just cruisingPhotography is becoming a way in which I can rest.

What was your childhood ambition?
To be better than my twin brother at everything we did.

Favourite Movie?
Guardian - The motto "So that others may live" gets me every time.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Just living life with Kathy, Jeff, Mandy, and Beth; I get such a sense of pride and fulfillment in just being with them, they are the greatest gift God could give me and are my most profound joy.

What is your best memory of BCC?
Ha-ha, well I’ve only been here a short time, but it was a nice surprise to find some Tim Horton’s coffee for me to brew at the church.

What is your greatest indulgence?
Definitely donuts, but other than that buying carpentry tools from Lee Valley.

How do you best relax?
I love outdoors stuff like hunting, fishing, etc. but I also like watching Seinfeld re-runs, and playing games with my kids.

What was your childhood ambition?
To live in the woods in a log cabin and shoot my own food.

Favorite movie?
The Lord of the Rings extended version
.

Your greatest accomplishment?
Convincing my wife to marry me.

Came to BCC: 1998
Single

What is your best memory of BCC?
Probably the good ol' days where I got to be the person who pushed the overhead slides up and down during church services. I thought I was so cool and important. Psh, technology nowadays. But really, I think I've spent too much of my life here in the building, and loved it, to choose just one. Growing up in the Youth Group was spectacular.

What is your greatest indulgence?
Must I pick just one? Fine, then. I choose chocolate! Mixed with some kind of raspberry variety, of course.

How do you best relax?
Interestingly enough, by organizing things (alphabetizing, colour coding, rolling change or cleaning my room). Also, reading a book or watching pointless, really badly done movies. Good times.

What was your childhood ambition?
To own a yellow car (Preferably a Taxi. I thought they looked like bananas).

Favorite movie?
Lord of the Rings Triology. Hands down. Closely followed by Star Wars Saga (the old three) and Aladdin. Also Princess Bride. It's pretty much a four-way tie.

Your greatest accomplishment?
Surviving Brazil by myself for five months.
