Age: 48, but some days it feels like 68
Married 25 years to Kathy, three children, Jeff, Mandy, and Beth.  Woot!!

How long have you been at BCC?
I’ve been pastoring here now for over 11 years! Which I guess makes me the longest running pastor in BCC history
.

What really gets you excited?
I am always amazed to see people growing in their relationship with God.  Seeing people who are learning to trust, love, persevere and serve just makes my day.

I love to work with and develop leaders. Leadership is a big passion of mine and I really enjoy working with people to discover their own leadership styles and help them develop and use their abilities effectively

What is your greatest indulgence?
New technology; I get excited, frustrated, and satisfied in the hours I get to spend figuring out something new.

How do you best relax?
Going for a walk, golfing, or going with Kathy (my wife) into the city with no big plans or agenda but just cruising.

What was your childhood ambition?
To be better than my twin brother at everything we did.

Favourite Movie?
Guardian - The motto "So that others may live" gets me every time.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Just living life with Kathy, Jeff, Mandy, and Beth; I get such a sense of pride and fulfillment in just being with them, they are the greatest gift God could give me and are my most profound joy.

What is your greatest indulgence?
Definitely donuts, but other than that buying carpentry tools from Lee Valley.

How do you best relax?

To live in the woods in a log cabin and shoot my own food.

Favorite movie?
The Lord of the Rings extended version
.

Your greatest accomplishment?
Convincing my wife to marry me.

Age: 37
Married to Blair for 16 years. Our children are: Dakota, Keaton and Madison

What is your greatest indulgence?
My greatest indulgence would have to be...My new found passion and love for traveling, but here at home it would be stamping and card making.

What was your childhood ambition?
In my early teens I wanted to be a writer. I would spend hours writing my own "novels". I wonder where those all went to?

How do you best relax?
On a beach (Wizard Lake, BC, Labadee, or Mexico, it's all good to me as long as there is sun, sand & water) or around a campfire. If neither are options...crawling under the covers to read a good book or have a nap!

Favorite movie?
Only one!? That's hard...Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Most embarrassing moment?
At the video store looking for a miovie with Blair and I cuddled up to who I thought was my husband...Blair of course was standing further down smirking as he watched this all unfold!

What has God recently blessed you with?
An opportunity to attend a Compassion Advocate Tour to Honduras (June/July 2010).

What is your fondest memory of BCC?
The first thing that comes to my mind is my baptism! It was awesome to be dunked!  The second would be how I ended up at BCC.
