The Outreach Ministry exists to equip and educate the congregation on matters of missions local and worldwide; providing opportunities and tools to engage in both. The Outreach Ministry also exists to provide prayer and financial support to both local and worldwide missions.  Outreach is characterized by telling others of the Gospel by speaking the truth in love and showing others the love of Christ through acts of service.

'Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: 'God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you.  I'll be with you as you do this, day after day, after day, right up to the end of the age.'"  Matthew 28:18-20 (The Message)

Missions and Church are synonymous – if there are two things I have learned in my many months abroad, they are that to be a Christian is to be a missionary, and that the mission field is everywhere. I find it incredible that God brought me to the poorest of the poor on the far side of the world to awaken in me a passionate love for the poor and hurting in my own backyard. Not only has God used missions to stretch, challenge, and teach me about Himself, the world, and how to live in it, but He has used them to shape my very character, to develop me into the woman He created me to be, and to sharpen my calling and vision for the future. Missions have become the heartbeat of who I am, because they are the heartbeat of who God is.
